Selling point for me, was price. Had it been at today’s price, I might have moved on. But i didn’t and here we are!
Arrived a day early via Amazon/USPS. Well, alrighty then! Brand new! Well, alrighty then!
Opened the box and reached in to remove it….SOFT AF! Success! Completely covers queen size memory foam mattress. Wonderful! Heats up fast? We’re still rocking! Easy controls? Absolutely! It’s all common sense. + or – to set temp or time. Put both where you want them and “set” appears. You are done!
Now, the best part to “me”! After reading a review for another electric blanket complaining about how a twin mattress blanket heating area was only 3 feet wide, I thought to myself, “Well, DUH!” I mean, why would an electric blanket heat the sides of a mattress? ?? ? And no big deal to me since I do NOT move after I fall to sleep. That IS the memory foam mattress. So 3 feet wasn’t an issue since I could fall asleep under it and stay under it! Again, the best part….the heated area with “this” twin blanket is, ready….48 inches wide and 66 inches head to toe!! So even if for some reason I do toss and turn, I’ll always end up “under” the heated area!
Only downside I see is if my Sweetheart scoots away from my warmth because the blanket is doing MY job!
…..oh good grief…
But bottom line, this was a GREAT purchase! And if it goes on sale again for $35, I’ll buy another to store in the closet to bring out after this ends its’ 3-4 year lifespan!

The best thing about these blankets (I ordered 2) is that the thermostat only goes to 110 degrees. This means that I do not wake up at night sweating under the blanket (finally a convenient electric blanket!!) AND the blanket itself keeps my body warm after my body warms up!!!! The directions suggest and I tried turning up the thermostat to 110 degrees for 15-30 minutes – then get into a warm bed and turn off the blanket before you go to sleep. I tried this, it works, I am warm all night long. As the winter progresses, if I think I need a little warmth from the blanket – I have the option of setting the controller to 85 degrees and going to sleep. The blanket is soft to the touch and hold my body heat all night long. Another thing I like is the plug is at the bottom edge of the blanket (of course) AND at the side = so you never have to tuck in the plug. There is no top or bottom to this blanket, so you can position the plug on either the right or left side of your bed.
This is the second Vremi product that I have purchased. Two and three years ago, I purchased Vremi dehumidifiers AND they are still working reliably – unlike the Frigidaire dehumidifiers (various sizes) that I purchase every 2 years over a ten year period. I spent a fortune trying to dehumidify my basement.
