Mr.EasyCakes –
Love this camera. It’s great for walking around, it’s lightweight and very intuitive. For higher quality portraits and more artistic shots I’ll grab my Z6 but the format of the Zmount lenses are worlds better than the f mount. I appreciate the fact that there are more z-mount lenses coming out. Overall extremely satisfied with this little camera. Only issue I have is batteries drain faster than I would like but that is easily cured with the two pack of the Wasabi batteries.

After my DSLR died, I decided to make the move to mirrorless and since I already have a good set of Nikon DX (crop sensor) lenses, the Z50 was a natural choice for me. I highly recommend this for beginners or advanced enthusiasts who want to move to mirrorless. This camera comes with a lot of features that used to be only on the pro cameras. Of course the pro cameras still have new features that the Z50 doesn’t have, but I really like having access to things like eye auto focus, animal auto focus, horizon level, user programmable settings, and programmable quick function buttons. Even the (i) menu system is now configurable. The transition from DSLR to mirrorless has been very smooth although I am still learning.
