Like this chair very much. Solid and comfortable. The lock mechanism works well, for me. If fully reclined, you not truly need to lock, unless you are moving and reaching. When the locks are set, they hold well. My only issue is not with the chair itself. I am 5’6″ / approx 150 lbs. I have to basically LAUNCH myself into the seat and when it is time to get out, it requires effort for me. Chair is too big. Didn’t think I’d feel that way but …. However, my son is 6’2″ and approx 220 lbs. It is now his chair 🙂 Happy with the purchase.
Small note: Arrived with a small issue in a seam. It did not truly concern me, and has not caught or spread.
