Sultn siyen –
whatsoever – zero!!! Just an expensive 10″ skillet with glass lid banging around in a big box that would have held multiple skillets. Appears someone just grabbed it off the shelf and dumped it in the box. Damage to the outside of skillet due to this inexcusable packing and absolute lack of regard for the customer!!!!

Very disappointed with this skillet

Style: Skillet with Lid (12.25″)
I’m usually a big fan of KitchenAid products, but not this purchase. Could be I got a lemon – since almost all the other reviews are glowing with praise – but I really hate this skillet. First off, the bottom is domed-shaped – so that, if I put 2 T of liquid/oil in the pan, it immediately spreads out to the outer rim (leaving the center of the pan with no liquid/oil), instead of uniformly covering the bottom of the pan. Secondly, everything burns in this pan. Makes no difference if I have the heat on medium – or high – food comes out burned. (Also, there’s some kind of funky chemical smell when the pan’s cooking, too. What’s up with that?) On top of everything else? The bottom of the pan – inside – is already showing scratch marks(?!?) – and… from what?!? We don’t use metal utensils, so… ???? It’s not a cheap pan – and it’s a KitchenAid product – so I expected more. What I got is something more along the lines of a $12 dimestore pan. (It DOES clean up well – and the lid is nice.)
